INDUSTRIAL VISIT “AGROMAC STEEL INDUSTRIES”

Aurora’s PG College MCA, Nampally organized a highly educational Industrial Visit to Agromech Industries on October 14, 2025. Recognized as a market leader in the stainless steel and kitchenware segment, Agromech Industries provided students with a unique window into the operations of a large-scale steel retail and manufacturing hub.

Objectives of the Visit

  • Industry Integration: To expose students to the operational workflows of the steel retail and manufacturing sector, emphasizing how technology manages vast inventories and production cycles.
  • Technical Observation: To witness firsthand the use of modernmachinery and manufacturing techniques in producing high-quality stainless-steel products.
  • Entrepreneur Dynamics: To understand the supply chain, from the raw material phase to the retail and wholesale distribution of finished goods.
  • Outcome-Based Learning (OBL) for Students

  • Application of Systems Management: Students observed how complex inventory and retail operations are managed, helping them understand the practical application of database management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems in the steel industry.
  • Manufacturing Insights: Participants gained a clear understanding of quality control and the physical testing processes used to ensure steel products meet industry standards.
  • Logistical Competence: Students learned the nuances of managing high-volume retail transactions and wholesale distribution, identifying the critical role of logistics in a successful industrial enterprise.
  • Professional Readiness: By interacting with seasoned industry professionals, students developed a better perspective on the technical and managerial skills required to thrive in a competitive industrial environment.

    SAMVIDHAN DIVAS – CONSTITUTIONAL DAY

    REPORT CONSTITUTION DAY : POSTER PRESENTATION

    Aurora’s PG College successfully conducted a Poster Presentation on the occasion of Constitution Day, i.e., 26-11-2025, commemorated annually to honour the adoption of the Constitution of India. The event was organized to create awareness among students about constitutional values, rights, duties, and democratic principles.

    The poster presentation witnessed active participation from students, who enthusiastically prepared and displayed posters on various themes related to the Constitution of India. Students demonstrated creativity through the use of colours, slogans, illustrations, and meaningful messages. Each participant explained the concept and relevance of their poster, showcasing their understanding of constitutional principles and contemporary relevance.Faculty members evaluated the posters based on creativity, clarity of message, relevance to the theme, and presentation skills. The event effectively fulfilled its objectives by engaging students in meaningful learning while celebrating the spirit of the Indian Constitution.


    TRADITIONAL DAY

    Aurora’s PG College MCA, Nampally vibrant celebrated its Traditional Day on December 18, 2025. It is an event dedicated to "Celebrating Culture and Embracing Heritage". This co-curricular activity served as a warm, informal welcome for our newly admitted students, providing a platform to showcase India’s rich cultural diversity. The campus was filled with energy as students participated in a series of spirited dance performances and musical acts. A major highlight of the day was the traditional ramp walk, where students proudly displayed ethnic attire, leading to the crowning of Mr. Fresher, Miss Fresher, Prince, and Princess. The event successfully fostered a sense of community and pride among the students and faculty alike.


CERTIFICATION PROGRAM ON “DATA ANALYTICS AND FULL STACK JAVA”

Aurora’s PG College MCA, Nampally successfully conducted an intensive professional Certification Program focusing on Data Analytics and Full Stack Java. This initiative was designed as a value-added course to significantly enhance the employability and technical readiness of our Master of Computer Applications (MCA) students. The program was made possible through a strategic collaboration with nirmaan.org and was co-sponsored by Infosys and Synchrony Foundations as part of their impactful CSR initiatives.

Certification program Objectives

  • Specialized Skill Development: To provide students with in-depth, industry-standard training in high-demand technical domains, specifically Data Analytics and Full Stack Java.
  • Industry Alignment: To bridge the gap between academic theory and corporate requirements by leveraging resources and curricula from global leaders like Infosys.
  • Professional Readiness: To equip students with "Employability Skills" that go beyond the standard university syllabus, ensuring they are prepared for the competitive tech job market.

Value-Based Outcomes

  • Technical Proficiency: Over a 3-month duration, students gained hands-on experience and theoretical mastery of complex software development and data processing frameworks.
  • Corporate Certification: Upon successful completion, participants earned recognized certifications backed by Infosys and Synchrony, significantly strengthening their professional portfolios.
  • Career Advancement: Students developed the confidence and verified competencies necessary to navigate modern professional challenges in the IT sector.

BUSINESS PLAN PRESENTATION

Aurora's PG College (MCA), Nampally, conducted a Business Plan Presentation event on 24/12/2025, providing students with a platform to showcase their innovative ideas. This event aimed to encourage entrepreneurship and creativity among students, allowing them to develop and present their business plans.

The event likely featured presentations from students, focusing on various aspects of business planning, such as objectives, financial planning, and marketing strategies. Faculty judges evaluated the students based on criteria like communication, financial planning, goals, marketing strategy, and innovation. The Business Plan Presentation is an annual event that helps students explore their entrepreneurial potential.


VEERBAL DIWAS - DAY OF BRAVE CHILDREN

The college organized a profound and high-energy tribute to commemorate Veer Bal Divas, honouring the unparalleled courage and supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzada’s, Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The event was meticulously designed to blend historical reverence with modern intellectual engagement, beginning with a Robotic Game competition that symbolized precision and resilience, followed by a spirited Elocution session, which emphasized how the young heroes chose their faith and principles over life itself. The intellectual discourse culminated in a rigorous Group Discussion. Throughout the day, students actively participated with immense zeal, demonstrating a deep emotional connection to the legacy of the Sahibzada’s and a commitment to upholding the values of integrity and moral duty. By integrating public speakingand critical thinking, the college successfully transformed a day of remembrance into a powerful educational experience, instilling a sense of pride and historical consciousness.


MEGA HEALTH CAMP & BLOOD DONATION

Aurora’s PG College MCA, Nampally organized a comprehensive Mega Health Camp and Voluntary Blood Donation Drive on December 29, 2025. This extracurricular initiative was designed to promote health awareness and community service among both students and staff members. The event was held in collaboration with Sanjeevini Blood Centre, the Lions Club of Hyderabad Elite, and Yashoda Hospitals.

The health camp offered a wide range of diagnostic services to ensure the physical well-being of the college community. Professional medical teams conducted thorough eye checkups, dental examinations, and vital health screenings, including blood pressure and diabetic tests. Additionally, the camp provided specialized ECG tests to monitor cardiac health, ensuring that participants received a holistic assessment of their current medical status.

A significant portion of the day was dedicated to a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp, where students and faculty members contributed to saving lives through their benevolent gestures. Organized by the Sanjeevini Blood Centre, the drive saw an enthusiastic response, with donors receiving Certificates of Appreciation in recognition of their life-saving contributions. This successful event highlighted the college's commitment to social responsibility and the importance of proactive health management.


CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS

Aurora’s PG College MCA, Nampally wrapped up the year on a festive note with a grand Christmas and New Year Celebration held on December 30, 2025. The event brought the campus to life with holiday cheer, featuring vibrant decorations and a special appearance by Santa Claus, who delighted the students. A formal cake-cutting ceremony was held with faculty and students to welcome the upcoming year 2026. This co-curricular activity provided a wonderful opportunity for the student body to gather, celebrate their achievements, and foster a spirit of joy and togetherness before the holiday break.
