Spandana Reddy, MBA I year, C-section, won the best speaker Award and a cash prize of Rs. 1,000 at Debate Competition on the topic “The Vision of crafting corruption –free India: Is Corruption free India Possible?” organized by Power Grid Corporation of India & University College for Women, Koti, Hyderabad.
College moduled a CRT Program of 10 sessions beginning from 23 Oct, 2017 to 2nd November, 2017 in which well experienced instructors, specialized CRT Training explained and tested on modules thoroughly researched; & well prepared material and company specific paper pattern
On 7th November, 2017, guest lecture on Stock Mind was conducted in the college for MBA I students by Mr. Ashish Anand, ICICI securities, Somajiguda. Stock Mind is a stock market related game where one can buy and sell shares on a virtual basis.
A Guest Lecture was conducted on Entrepreneurship Development by Mr. G. Venkata Ramana on 12th December, 2017. Mr. G. Venkata Ramana holds 33 years of experience in Automobile Industry, Insurance & IT. He is presently working as Consultant for various Insurance and It firms in business and training. The Guest lecture made the students to understand the know-how of how of various aspects of entrepreneurship development.
Mr. Suhas Sadrula an expert of APT PRO Training Services visited Aurora P G College on 1st December, 2017, for providing information about their institution and all the services which they offer that provide the students knowledge of the current market. The APT PRO Training services is an Ed Tech start up established with the motive to bridge the gap between the existing and the expected student’s community and the Corporate world. The program was attented by both MBA & MCA students.
The students of MBA I semester students of Aurora’s PG College Nampally visited HBL Industries, Hyderabad on 8th December, 2017. Around 56 students visited the company along with Faculty Coordinator, Mr. Nagarjuna.
The students of MBA I Year of Aurora’s PG College Nampally visited ICOM TELE Private Limited, Nagaram, Telecommunication equipment and towers manufacturing company on 9th March, 2018. Around 55 students visited the company along with Faculty Coordinators Mr. Nagarjuna, Ms. Jyothi and Ms. Swapna.
A week long entrepreurship festival in the form of Webinar was conducted on 8th January, 2018. Students were enlightened on the various awards which would be given to them, their mentors and the respective Colleges/ Institutions for their bold vision and working towards the same and also for unlocking growth oppurtunities.
Students participated in Business Model Workshop at Rishi Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. It is a part of Master Trainer Boot Camp of National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), Wadhwani Foundation. ED Cell students of MBA I Year- Sairam, Mani Vikram & keerthana Reddy participated in the workshop.
Three MBA students have successfully completed 15 days of Entrepreneurial Development Program on Financial Products and Services organized by NI-MSME from 5th to 15th February, 2018. Certificates were given to the students by Director of Ni-MSME and Udyogwardhini for the program.

Maharshi Thatikonda MCA 2nd year 2nd Semester student developed TechTonic game for the Management Fest .TechTonic is a visual game developed under the guidelines of Ms. Arpitha HOD MCA, faculty members Ms. Vijaya Sree and Mr.Ram Prasad. The Game has two levels.
1st Level Blast and Reveal:
The Player has to shoot balloon by clicking the mouse, each balloon carries clocks (Logos) inside them, The player's target is to reveal 12 clocks within 90 seconds.
2nd Level Memory Matching.
In this level the players have identifies the images inside the rectangles. There are two images are randomly placed in somewhere else, the player has to identify the position of two images at same time. They are able to see only one image at one time by clicking the mouse on it another will closed by a cover page.
Used Technologies: JavaFX(Game) , Core java and MySql Database.
Modules: Player Environment (Game), Leading Board and registration module.
